This course begins with an exploration of the different levels of prompting and then guides participants to determine the right level of prompting to use. The next section helps participants to assess if an individual needs objects to communicate, and if so, how to provide objects to communicate throughout the day. The course then dives into how partial participation and generalization can help individuals with complex needs take more ownership of skills and use learned skills in more contexts. The course ends with helping participants acquire methods to increase screen-based engagement so that an individual can communicate with others virtually and participate in screen-based educational and recreational programming.
